Chris Hemsworth talks about acting and training

In a recent interview, Chris Hemsworth said his physical condition is now the strongest and the fittest it has ever been. He also shared that during acting in the earlier Thor movies, he overtrained but now he tries to train properly. He added that people who build muscles usually don't understand that this sport doesn't have to be performed seven days a week, two hours a day. That is exactly what he did before.

"The role of Thor required aesthetics. But bodybuilding is recognized as an act of vanity, whereas if I gained a lot of unhealthy weight or became unhealthy thin for the role, they would apparently pronounce me a serious actor. But a 12-hour day of shooting is a real routine and is rewarding too"- admits the star.

Bobby Holland Hanton who is Hemsworth's stunt double was dealing with weight increase for Hemsworth. Sometimes Hanton had to eat after every two hours to match with the actor.
