Demi Lovato shares the details of the overdose and her further recovery

Demi Lovato shared with the journalist some private details about her overdose, further recovery, and future new documentary film in a new interview for "CBS Sunday Morning", which arrived just a couple of days before "Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil" was released.

Celebrity told a reporter about her struggle which lasted 6 years, when she was trying to stay sober in 2010, and how it led to her overdose. “For the first time in my life, I had to die to be able to wake up”- says Demi. “I couldn't control my life at that moment. So I had to grow up and take responsibility for my life. Now I am in full control of my finances, the food I eat, and how I even exercise "- it was added.

However, the star admitted that she drinks some alcohol and from time to time smokes weed during her recovery. “I think the method of total limiting yourself is a method that is not completely suitable for all people. And the method of moderate consumption is a universal solution for everyone”- says the star.

"Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil" appeared on March 23rd on YouTube.
