Disney Has Released a Trailer for the Restart of the Film Series Home Alone
Is Kevin back? The trailer for Home Alone has been published. This cult film is perhaps one of the most beloved by many people. It first premiered in November 1990 in Chicago.
The fact that the Disney company decided to restart the film became known two years ago. And on Tuesday, October 12th, the 20th Century film studio released a trailer for the reboot. The movie will be released on the streaming service Disney + on November 12, 2021.
It was directed by Dan Mazer, who previously worked on the Dirty Grandpa film. The author of the first and second parts of Home Alone called the restart a waste of time.
The relaunch was dubbed Home Sweet Home Alone. The main role in the film will be played by 12-year-old Archie Yates, best known for his role in the movie Jojo Rabbit. His character will not be called Kevin McCallister, but Max Mercer. Despite the differences, judging by the trailer, the plot of the remake completely repeats the original 1990 film.
Max's family leaves for the Christmas holidays in Japan, forgetting their son. However, the boy does not feel sad alone but enjoys the time spent in a huge house. As for the negative characters, they will naturally be. This time, this is a married couple who will try to break into the house, and the boy will stand in his defense.
If you watch the trailer carefully, then at 45 seconds you can see a policeman with the name McCallister. This is the brother of Kevin- Buzz played by Devin Ratray.
It is not known whether Macaulay Culkin will be in the film. From time to time, the network pops up information that the producers still persuaded the actor to appear in this tape.
