Kanye West’s Donda 2 Will Be Available on Stem Player, He Has Already Sold 11,000 of Them

Kanye West Donda 2

Kanye West sold about 11,000 of his Stem players in 24 hours, for which he received more than two million dollars.

The American rapper said on the social network that today artists receive only 12% of the money earned by the music industry. That's why he wants to free music from this system.

According to the musician, the new album, which is scheduled for release on February 22, will not be available on other streaming platforms and music services. You can listen to it only on Kanye's own Stem Player devices, which cost 200 dollars.

Donda 2 will only be available on the Stem Player platform. Not on Apple, Amazon, Spotify, or YouTube. Stem Player owners will be able to download the Donda 2 album from a separate site.

The device is a soft-surfaced disk that has a speaker on the side and is controlled by several touch buttons. The player has a headphone jack, but no display at all.

The device allows real-time control of various aspects of the sound of tracks: vocals, drums, or bass. Kanye released his player in 2021 on the eve of the release of the first Donda album.
