In second place was the thriller Don't Breathe Part 2 which started with a result of 10.6 million dollars. And the third place was held by Jungle Cruise with 9 million dollars.
The leader of the previous weekend, the adaptation of the DC Comics Suicide Squad Part 2, moved immediately to fifth place in the overall ranking.
The action film, which arrived on August 12, can be exclusively watched in theaters and stars Ryan Reynolds as a video game character. On Saturday, the actor tweeted that Disney plans to work on a sequel. And Disney, which also owns 20th Century Studios, can present it sooner than you think. Earlier, the director of the film said that he would be interested in watching the main hero move from one game to another, for example, in Minecraft or Call of Duty. This is the first film by Disney released in a few years which is not a sequel and not tied to a franchise.
