Large Brands Stop To Work With the Singer After Kris Wu’s Sex Scandal Arrived

Rapper Kris Wu, One of China’s Biggest Stars, Accused of Sex Abuse

The singer and actor Kris Wu has been recently accused of seducing teenage girls. Such accusations were made by Du Meizhua who was in a relationship with the star. On July 8, the 19-year-old girl stated that two years ago Kris allegedly invited her to his house for a casting to select members for music videos. But then he got drunk and forced her to have sex using various methods of pressure.

The student who told about Kris Wu’s sex scandal also admitted that similar incidents happened with at least eight other young girls, some of whom did not reach 14 years old.

In addition, Wu allegedly proposed money to Du. According to the victim, she was offered almost 80,000 dollars in exchange for silence, but she refused.

After the girl's speech in the press, almost all Chinese brands refused to cooperate with Kris. For example, after Kris Wu’s sex scandal, such brands as Louis Vuitton, Porsche, and Bulgari froze contracts with the actor and deleted all the posts with him on social media. Lancôme and L'Oréal, who are also working with Wu, have not yet commented on the scandal. According to the singer, he saw Du only once at a party but he doubts all her accusations.

Kris Wu became an ex-member of the South Korean K-pop group Exo but in 2014 he came to China to start his solo and acting career. He has played in several Chinese blockbusters, as well as Hollywood films such as Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.
