Matthew Vaughn Announces the Crazy Relaunch of His Superhero Movie Kick-Ass
More than ten years have passed since the release of Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass tape, and eight since the release of the sequel directed by Jeff Wadlow.
And recently, Matthew spoke about his plans to relaunch the superhero movie Kick-Ass. The director filmed the first part, which was released in 2010, and was also the producer of the second, which came out in 2013.
Vaughn says he wants to restart Kick-Ass in the next two years. He didn’t say if the original cast would return to their roles because he cannot talk too much about the project right now. However, the director noted that they are already ready to start work.
The original film stars Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass), Chloe Grace Moretz who played the role of the Hit-Girl, Nicolas Cage (Big Daddy), and others.
Previously, Chloe attended the Jimmy Fallon show, where she answered a question that concerned the movie. The actress did not confirm or dispel the rumors but said that she would gladly take part in the project if she was given such an opportunity.
