Netflix Streaming Platform Announces Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal Release
Streaming service Netflix continues to introduce Western audiences to the world of Japanese anime. This time, the service will show at once two parts of the feature-length cartoons Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie about the superheroine Sailor Moon and her friends.
This is the first Sailor Moon movie that will appear on the Netflix platform after 26 years. On Tuesday, the streaming platform made an announcement that both 1 and 2 parts of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie will debut outside of Japan on June 3, 2021.
The films, which already were premiered in Japan in January and February 2021, are a sequel to 2014's Sailor Moon Crystal, a kind of a load of the original 1992 anime. It is interesting that the cartoon with an English translation and a rich set of subtitles will be shown for the first time.
The heroine will once again have to fight the villains who want to take advantage of the new moon to kidnap the Legendary Silver Crystal and find the chosen Maiden who can break the seal of the Golden Crystal. If they succeed, then evil will gain power over the Earth, the Moon, and then the entire universe...
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie will appear on the Netflix streaming platform on June 3.
