A music teacher named Liz (her nickname is makeshift.macaroni) posted a video on Tik-Tok with her own quarantine song with the ukulele. The composition is perfect in terms of the universality and vitality of its content. Few would have been able to articulate the thoughts of many people locked in their homes because of the coronavirus. This is especially true for teachers who give lessons online.
The video became famous, have more than 160 thousand views. Its popularity has increased due to Mark Ruffalo (the Hulk from “The Avengers”), the actor published it on his Twitter. That’s how Liz described the video herself:
“Perfect,” Marc Ruffalo. “Not your best work,” my husband.
I’m a music teacher, and I realized that one of the best ways I can provide online learning is by writing a song. So I wrote a song, and I want to share it with you guys. Here we go.
The comments on the video are full of praise for Liz’s creative skills.
“I’m a college professor, and it’s very vital. I’ve watched this video dozens of times, and it still makes me laugh loudly. Thank you!”
“I need the whole album. Where can I find it?”
“God, I’ve had a rough day with my online lessons. And then I got this beauty in front of my eyes. I was laughing really loud. Thank you so much!”
“This is the best thing that came out of the pandemic. Thank you.”
“You passed on the essence of it all perfectly!”
