Pink Floyd Recorded a New Song, All Proceeds From It Will Go To Help Ukraine

Legendary rock band from Britain Pink Floyd has presented their first song. It is their first release since 1994. The new track got the name Hey, Hey, Rise Up, and all proceeds from the sale of the single will go to humanitarian help for Ukraine.

The composition uses the vocals of Andriy Khlyvnyuk who is known as the leader of the Ukrainian group named Boombox. Vocalist and guitarist of the British group David Gilmour, commenting on the release of the new single, said that the whole team is angry at the Russian invasion of an independent country and the killing of its civilians.

The video for Hey, Hey, Rise Up was directed by Mat Whitecross. You can watch the clip by the British director on YouTube. It was assembled from footage of military operations on the territory of Ukraine and anti-war actions that took place in different cities of the world.
