Spanish police arrested an illegal workshop that made 3D firearms


On Sunday, Spanish police announced that they had discovered the country's first workshop that was utilizing a 3D printer to create illegal firearms.

Police reported that they arrested one man from Tenerife, Canary Islands after it was found out that he was associated with a secret workshop. There, the suspect supposedly made a crime weapon using 3D printing.

In addition to the printer, the attorneys also confiscated elements for 19 3D-printed weapons, several knives, chemicals that can be further used to make explosives, and other objects. The operation was carried out by the Spanish National Police.
