The First Trailer of the Movie Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City Was Released
The Sony Pictures company has released the first trailer for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. The fantasy horror film will reboot the popular media franchise in the past. Paul Anderson, who directed six films in the series, has been replaced by Johannes Roberts. The new director is famous for the atmospheric horror films, such as 47 Meters Down and The Strangers: Prey at Night.
The first two parts of the game Resident Evil were taken as the basis for the film, so the creators of the new picture clearly decided to return to the origins. According to the plot, Claire Redfield comes to her native Raccoon City to visit her brother Chris at the worst possible moment- the sinister experiments of the Umbrella corporation end with the subjects breaking free, infecting everyone around with a zombie virus...
The producers managed to attract a number of young, but already well-known actors. For example, the main character is played by Kaya Scodelario and Chris was represented on the screen by Robbie Amell.
The premiere of the upcoming movie will take place on November 24, 2021. The genre of the film is horror with an 18+ rating.
In addition to the film, a game series about Albert Wesker's daughters is being shot, and the animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness has already been released on Netflix.
