Three Men Are Considered Guilty of an Assault on a Gay Couple in Downtown Texas

Three men from Texas are officially considered guilty after an assault on a gay couple that happened in downtown Austin. After the 2019 attack on Spencer Deehring and Tristan Perry, a rally sparked outside the Capitol.

As a result, four men were charged with the beating. And last week, three of them were found guilty and sentenced for a hate crime. O'Connor and Monell received probation, and Frank Macias, in turn, was sentenced to one year in prison, which has now ended.
