Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy Spoke at the Grammy Awards Ceremony

This year, Grammy Awards were finally held offline. The ceremony was originally scheduled for January 31, but it was postponed due to covid. The event was held in Las Vegas and was hosted by American stand-up comedian Trevor Noah.

The President of Ukraine also spoke at the ceremony. Volodymyr Zelenskiy noted that due to the Russian invasion, local musicians are forced to perform for the injured people in hospitals. Zelenskiy called for "telling the truth" about the military operation on social networks and on television. After his touching speech, John Legend sang along with Ukrainian artists at the ceremony.

The triumphs of the evening were Jon Batiste together with Olivia Rodrigo. The singer who is 19 years old was named the best new artist. The album of 2022 was Jon Batiste's We Are. The man received five awards for the evening and became the first colored artist in 14 years to win the award.

The Best Song award was given to Leave The Door Open performed by Silk Sonic, of which Bruno Mars is a member. The musicians won all four nominations in which they were presented, including Record of the Year.
